The Vulkan is traditionally positioned just below the reference speaker TITAN – the Vulkan is the scarcely less powerful but slightly smaller built sister with a space-saving design. In every generation, both have been endowed with the same solid features, which is especially true for the new Aurum Vulkan VIII.

The Vulkan owes its greatest musical talent to her renowned roots and also to the constant fine tuning while using the most modern measurement and simulation tools. Among its outstanding construction principles are the pressure chamber/reflex construction for abysmal powerful and tight bass lines as well as the front and lateral emitting 30 cm bass speaker that knowingly animates the air while profiting from the practically reflection-free baffle board. Furthermore, the quadral Altima® Cones of the very large and extremely neutral sounding low and mid-range speakers were refined, and a ribbon tweeter with a very strong driver and minimal dimensions was developed, giving the high tones a wonderful sheen. The strong drive magnets and optimised geometrics of all speaker chassis increase the efficiency and attention to detail. The selected components on the crossover as well as the inner wiring with top-quality Real Cable® play a significant role in the sound improvement.
